Humane Education

To induce prosocial values and human/animal compassion, HSKY supports National Association for Humane and Environmental Education (NAHEE) findings and reaches Third Graders in Northern Kentucky. Still in its first year, HSKY’s Humane Education program relies heavily on inductive reasoning as opposed to moral exhortations and power assertive punitive discipline techniques. The inductive reasoning model has proven most effective in fostering humane attitudes and prosocial behavior.
